Award-winning actor Lenore Zann first burst onto the entertainment scene with her powerful portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in the rock opera Hey Marilyn! Since then, she has performed across North America and around the globe with hundreds of credits in Theater, Film, TV, Radio, Animation and Interactive Games.
A tireless champion for environmental and social justice, Lenore put aside her acting career for 12 years to serve as an elected Representative on both State and Federal levels of government in Canada – working as a Member of Parliament alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Her Private Member’s Bill, “An Act to Address Environmental Racism” was the first bill of its kind in North America.
Now the magical wings of Disney have brought her to new heights as she reprises the role she originated in the ‘90’s in X-Men: The Animated Series. Zann’s iconic voice has become synonymous with “Rogue”, the superhero who can pack a punch with southern charm, and now fans and critics alike are raving about her powerhouse performance in Marvel’s new hit series X-Men ‘97 now streaming on Disney+.
Recent feature film roles include “The Legend of the White Dragon” with David Jason Frank, and Stage Mother, on Amazon Prime. A new album is in the works and her memoir, A ROGUE’S TALE is set to be published this fall. Lenore is a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award for Service to Community & Country and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Contribution to Arts and Culture.
